101cliches.com is a collection of photos used in boring clichéd ways but with a little twist. You can vote on not only how many times you’ve seen a cliché in the wild but also whether you’re guilty of having used the cliché in your life. They’ve even started a little campaign where you can submit your own clichés to their list.

If you can get by the fact that the site is a shameless plug for their main business, a B2B marketing company (which is quite obviously tuned in to cool because they think clichés are passé! and they made a funny website about it that uses crowdsourcing! and they published a sexy book too because old school tech is hip!), you can enjoy 101cliches.com for being a little poke right in the eye of the issue we’ve been railing against for ages here at Photocase: why use crappy stock photo clichés when there are so many imaginative and exciting photos out there (and of course here)?

It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.
