In honour of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the biggest book fair in the world (and it’s happening right now in Frankfurt!), we’ve decided to launch a little Book Cover Design contest. First, for a little inspiration, we present the Photocase Library Collection, made by dudebun.
Et voilà: The Photocase Library Selection.
The Rules
Nothing too fancy. The rules are as follows:
1. You gotta use a Photocase photo.
2. You gotta make a book cover for a novel or for a biography.
3. You gotta use the standard book size of 6″ x 9″
4. You gotta enter before Monday October 11th at 11:59 (before lunch!)
To enter your book cover, post a link to it in the comments below (make sure you use your Photocase Username so we know who you are). Winner will be chosen by us and posted on Monday after lunch.
The Prize
The Taschen Store Berlin is sponsoring this little affair by offering a book for the winner called “Asian Graphic Now!” by Julius Wiedemann. 432 Pages.

cool!
What no other contestants? That makes for an easy win I guess. Don’t mind though.
Hey Sam,
This is the problem with two different blogs (one German one English) I didn’t mention that the best overall from both blogs will win. There are 12 entries over in the German section here:

Well that’s more like it then. Doesn’t quite feel like a competition just by myself.
Maybe for the next time you should have people upload their image to a single page and then they would also all be displayed together. I’m sure there are enough snippets that could be taken from Photocase to whip a page like that up in a couple of minutes.
Thanks Sam, good idea. Next time we’ll do a better job of consolidating the entries.
