This weekend is Photo Hack Day again in Berlin and we are proud prize sponsors. For the second best all-round photo hack we are giving away the beautiful Fujifilm X10. It’s looking dreamy in the photo below. Kaboom!
Our friends from Eyeem are hosting the 24h coding marathon that brings together the most creative developers, designers and photographers for the 3rd time this year. The goal of the event is to rapidly prototype new photo applications that revolutionize the way we take, see and interact with pictures. An additional (and not 100% serious) side note: The Hack Day hacking has absolutely nothing in common with what those guys in CSI are doing here or with mysterious polymorphic engines, like in the latest James Bond movie (“Oh shit! He hacked us.”). 🙂
Last year at Photo Hack Day 2, Team Helmut won the best all-round photo hack and with that our amazing prize package, including a SX70 for their analogue film scanner App (check out the happy winners here). Since April 2013, the Helmut App is available at the Google Play store.
Just like last year, Hack Day will take place at the Platoon Kunsthalle. Spots are going fast so register here. Feel free to come by on Sunday and watch the demos to see what comes out of a sleepless night of coding and designing.
